Spirits that are loud, sexual, and usually a lot of fun. They eat glass and raw chilies and anoint their sensitive areas with chili rum. Because they've lived already, they have no fear.
Guédé Spirits are Haitian, with roots in Africa. These images show reference to Catholicism and Vodun influences.
I began this series during the Covid shutdown. They became an obsession and were made and fired in a 2 month duration.
